Admin can't Delete Comments?

Question

I noticed that an admin can hide questions, answers and comments. However, it doesn't seem possible to delete comments if you are admin, even though you can delete questions and answers. Why is that? I believe an admin should be able to delete comments that are inappropriate, and just not be able to hide these comments. Am I missing something here?

I think you must be missing something - once a comment is hidden, it can be deleted, just like a question or answer.

Thanks. I'm using 1.5 beta 2, and whenever I hide a comment as an admin, there is no link to delete it. I see it for Answers and Questions, but it is not available for comments.

Is this on a live site? If so I'd like to sign up, you can give me delete privileges temporarily, and then I'll try to work out why it's not appearing.

You're welcome to private message me the link. But have you modified any of the core code, or written any plugins? If so perhaps this is the cause.
