My Q2A site local email not working

Question

Two or three weeks ago I noticed that all emails had stopped on my site. Alerts, contact us, password recovery email and all other notifications .

And I do not know what caused this sudden stoped .

I realy do appreciate your cooaporation to help on solving this issue .

By the way last month I upgraded my site to php 8
and installed (onsite notifications plug in )

The official release of Q2A doesn't support PHP 8 (not yet at least). pupi1985 has a fork with some fixes for PHP 8. You may want to try that.

Unfortunately, no one answered my question!

However, I switched to using email via SMTP instead of local mail. It is now working fine.

But I still hope someone can answer my question regarding local mail
