Add another field for answering questions

Question

Right now, when you click "answer," you get 

1) a text box to type your answer

2) an option to email me  if my answer is selected or commented on

How do you add another field?

AFAICS the admin settings allow for adding one extra field to questions, but not to answers. You'll probably have to write a custom plugin for this.
