regarding modification

I want to know which file has to be changed to change the content of ask a question page because i have to make some changes to that page in UI and add some extra field

You could go for the dirty approach of changing the qa-include/pages/ask.php

Alternatively, the right approach is creating a plugin with, most likely, a combination of layers and filter modules, based on your requirement.
