It probabily doesn't. The problem with spaces is that is impossible to know where the name ends and starts the rest of the text. The only solution would be check the DB and get all user's, and then see if any of it matches with the mentioned text. However, that would be impraticable, because when users databases reachs a huge ammount of users, the performance would drastically drop.
