You can use CSS to hide it, which is just about as good as disabling it, unless you have some very sneaky users.

Thanks for answer. After asking this question i found 2 same questions (http://www.question2answer.org/qa/3919/ , http://www.question2answer.org/qa/5234/ ) so i think it would be great feature to disable/enable down button.

The second thing you can do is set the points required for downvoting to a really high number. That way if a user gets sneaky they still can't actually downvote.

There is no such feature to set points for only downvoting.

Yes I just discovered that myself the other day... would be really useful is Q2A could split those, because I want to allow any user to upvote things, but prevent downvoting until they have a few more points.
