How can I change location of my q2a website?

My q2a website now is in this location:

https://www.mywebsitename.com/qa/

But I want it be in here:

qa.mywebsitename.com

How can I do it without removing questions and users?

You do not need to do any folder modification, just create a subdomain. Usually you can easily do it through the hosting administration panel, consult your provider.

(hostgator is called cpanel. www.yoursite.com/cpanel)

rcbr, thanks for your reply. But I already know what you said.
My problem is carrying my website from www.mywebsite.com/qa/ to qa.mywebsite.com without losing any data( user and questions)
