Like many people I come with baggage — the popular Xenforo forum software. I would like to add Q2A (and replace some forum sections with it), but I would need to make it easier for people to log into both with the same credentials. I would prefer to simply use the Xenforo login system if possible, or to synchronize usernames/passwords/names if not. What would it cost to develop this? I don’t mind if it’s available to others as a public plugin afterwards.
The other option would be an external authorization system that’s common to both, but which I could synch with the current Xenforo users.
