How best do I add a couple of custom pages after registration?

Question

After registration users are redirected to the home page.

How best is it to add a custom page after registration? 

I've looked at the register.php in the pages folder but I don't want to hack that file...

Any suggestions would be appreciated...

I've solved it - just need to modify the "to" part of the a link on the register button to:
