How do I set levels of users?

Question

Is this possible if I am using an external user database?

I still wish to be able to use different levels. In the external user database, there are levels which can be associated with editor/expert/etc.

Yes, the qa_get_logged_in_user(...) function you define in qa-external-users.php can provide information on the Q2A privilege level of the logged in user. Please see the documentation in that file for more details.
