Multiple QA sites single login?

Could someone please show an example of the qa-external-users.php file if using multiple qa sites with one login. I have been trying to get it working all day.

EDIT: I have just discovered that I do not need the qa-external-users.php if both sites are qa. However I have an exisiting website with current users, is it possible to do this if I already have users on my main site?

Figured out you have to use the same database doh, I was creating a new database. Is there a way to sync the points between each site or remove them completely from one of them?
