Is it possible to transfer a full Q2A site to another domain?

Is it possible to transfer a full Q2A site to another domain? You help will be highly apprciated

Of course you can transfer to another domain. Just change your site URL and that's all. But if you moving host than you may need to transfer database as well as files too.

Then if you have changed database name and userid, password then update the qa-config.php file.

Thanks for your reply. But what i want is to transfer all data to the new website but on the same server. This means that i will need to re-install again. So, how do i transfer the entire Q2A site with already created content and users to another website. In other wards, what do i need to change after transferring everything to the new website/domain?

Nope if server is the same then changing only site url should work. Just take a full backup before  you proceed.

If your server is the same (you are not changing server) then you do not need to install again. Since your files and database are situated on the same server but only domain has changed so just point your domain to your server and change the site url with the new one.

However I have noticed in past that some users had issue after changing server. So again! take full backup including database and your files before you do anything..
