Is there the concept of suggesting edits?

On Stack Exchange,  there is the concept of "Suggesting" Edits for people with less than a certain number of reputation points, precisely, 2000.  

These edits can then be reviewed by people with more than 2000 reputation points, who can approve, reject, or even edit it further.  These sorts of reviews happen on "review queues", c.f. http://physics.stackexchange.com/review  

Is there a similar  concept on Q2A?       

If not, is there a plug - in for such a thing ?

I think this is very important, as is the linked post, because it is important to have community moderation.
