Email notifications not working

Question

I have just installed Q2A on my website. Everything is working fine except for email notifications. I dont get any email when some one posts a question, and when I post the answer the person asking the question doesnt get any email notification either. I am not using SMTP mail but just simple email address.

If you are using the inbuilt PHP functions (this is the 'default' way PHP sends emails) then you will have to make sure your hosting server is setup with the correct settings. I would recommend using SMTP as it will probably be a lot less hassle to setup and not have your emails blocked.
