you can not assign non-category questions to a newly created category!
As you see on the left it says that question is asked at category 1, on the right it says no question at category 1.
and if you click on that it says no question is posted at category 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This bug can easily be reproduced at the demo :http://demo.question2answer.org/admin
1- login as demo admin
2- post a question
3- now the question does not belonge to any category as there none.
4- go ahead and create a new category
5- now assign the question you ask to this category
- click on set category link
