What's the difference between "Recent Q & A" and "All activity"?

And s there an option to change the home page for display all activity?

As name says Recent Q and A will only shows recent questions and answers and not comments, edits or any other activity. While All Activity will display every activiy. like recent question, answer, comment, edit and other..
