Ok, this is wild.
If I put in this answer (without quotes)
"Firstly great presentation of course. Secondly I have to say after viewing the content the area that I liked the most was relative to selective pruning. For some reason I figured that selective pruning was related to suppressing concepts that were less important and replacing them with newer or more recent ones that were related to the mental concept but I now see it is a link that extends from the base of the general idea. For example like you mentioned relating furniture to chair ect. However the visual presentation helped a lot with understanding Thagard’s concepts versus just reading the text."
I get a 500 error
However, if I change "from" to "farm", it works

The raw string is how it appears in the database -- no html formatting.
UPDATE 1/31/13
OK, check this out: I can shorten from the beginning as well -- this also reproduces the error
selective pruning from the base of the general idea.
Notice the pattern: select * from X?
Is the answer getting run through SQL, which is generating the error?
