add custom html box in top of default page

Hi,

I need To add any html box like <div>Hi</div> in  top of  home page ONLY, before new question box.( this box show in home page only and hide for other page) How to ?

Admin -> Layout -> Custom HTML at top of every page.

with this method we can add any html in top of every page. i need to show html only in home page->before new question box. NOTE: only home page not all page.
