Not Use Blobs

Question

I'm concerned about my Q2A site's DB filling up with blobs as users upload pics and binary files. Is there any way to put this storage elsewhere (e.g., an FTP site up a file area like Wordpress does)?

sorry I think I'm doing this through the Embed plugin or perhaps the Wysiwig plugin. My doubt remains the same, though. Thanks!

You could write a plugin which overrides the functions in qa-db-blobs.php
