Markdown syntax highlighting problem

Hi. I am having a small problem with markdown plugin.  Suppose I have a C++ code like that:

But if you look at the output of the syntax highlighter plugin you may recognize ekstra backslash \ characters.

Is there a way to fix this. Thanks..

i have the same problem. it's markdown. why don't make one like the one in stackoverflow site?

I am having the same problem using Q2A version 1.6.1.

if you use single or double quotation marks, it adds backslashes.

Anyone knows a fix ?
