expert and owner can answer, no one else

Question

hello, i need that only experts moderators and up can answer questions but also i need that the user (just registered and mail confirmed)  could answer to his own question so if there is any doubt about the question the owner can  clarify the question.

help please! (i know nothing about php or js :S)

If the question asker needs to clarify their question, then they should do it by editing their question or commenting on the question.

So you can just go to Permissions in the admin area and set "Answering questions" to be Expert and higher.

Hi there, firstly if my answer didn't answer your question, you shouldn't just repeat the question - you can comment here and say why my answer is not what you wanted.

Second, I don't know if you misunderstood my answer or if you simply don't understand how a Q&A site works. The comments area is exactly for the purpose you describe - an expert asks for question clarification in the comments, and the asker adds a comment or edits his question to clarify.

If you just want one post after another then you want a forum, not a Q&A site.
