Social sharing plugin with Chrome browser

Question

I installed the social sharing plugin and it works great in Firefox and Safari but the buttons aren't displaying properly in Chrome. This is what I'm seeing (a screen snip from below the Question posted):

I have not ticked LinkedIn but doing so doesn't matter, I still get the above for the FB, Twitter, and Google+ buttons. Nor are the above clickable. No problem with the emai button perhaps because it's a standalone PNG file?

I am using a iMac computer. Haven't tested on my Windows PC.

I am also having a similar situation with my iPad and its Safari in that the buttons do display and work except for the Google+ button. Here is a screen snip from the iPad display:

They all work for me with Chromium in Linux...
