Restrict users to site

Question

I got my Q2A up-n-running within minutes..sincere thanks to quick install through Webuzo. As expected for my site traffic I had a huge roar of users registering and geting activated. But as usual I am in with many a spammers. Is there a way torestrict/block such users to site?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you want to check the user IP if he is a well known spammer, you could also try https://github.com/sawtoothsoftware/Q2A-Spammer-Checker plugin (didn't try it myself - your feedback will be appreciated).
