I believe you can go to Admin > Posting

Then uncheck the “Custom field for extra information on post form”

I don't want to uncheck this and not visible to users on ask page.

Strange, for me this field is hidden, but I would like to make it visible again. I didn't find a function for this at Admin > Posting.
