Q2A does not do redirects when changing the URL structure, but all the URLs on the site are changed to the new structure (which you can see by clicking the question title on your link).

Q2A does add a ‘canonical’ meta tag with the correct URL format, which acts as a redirect for search engines like Google/Bing. So within a few weeks the new URL format will appear in search results.
