Avatar Upload Problem

I was able to upload avatars to my site before, but for 1-2 days, the avatar is not loaded as seen in the picture and the existing avatars are not visible. how do i solve this problem

Note: The images I uploaded are in png format and in the desired sizes.

Error:The image could not be read. Please upload one: GIF, JPG, PNG

Upgrading the PHP version to 7.4 fixed the problem.
