How to rewrite URL of the question page to default URL if the user edits keyword manually?

Hello,

This is my question page. http://www.mysite.com/q/818/searching-for-some-answer.

If I edit this url to http://www.mysite.com/q/818/something-else, it takes me to same page, because I haven't changed the questionId, but URL remains the new edited one. I want it to rewrite the URL to original one and don't retain edited url tags.

ie, even if I enter http://www.mysite.com/q/818/something-else, it should take me to http://www.mysite.com/q/818/searching-for-some-answer . How can I do it? Stackoverflow is already doing it. How to do it in Q2A?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hello,

I have seen users ask this question, but there is no solution posted. I have seen it implemented on the website (http://www.prepare4interview.com/877/how-would-you-create-a-ssis-package-based-on-below-scenario?qa_theme=p ) There is a Previous and Next buttion.

Looking for same functionality code to have PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons to navigate to next question. It will really enhance the user experience. I am not a PHP guy, appreciate someone to help all of us on this.

How to get the next NOT HIDDEN and NOT FREE question ID

I am trying to implement a simple question paging, one by one, I can do so by adding or substracting one from the id in the url, but this as well shows the hideen posts (This post was hidden by..) and I have a problem that I do not now where to stop counting.

Is there some simple function or method to get either the next not hidden used ID from database or at least a method to get the highest id ?

Shouldnt be that dificult ?
