Why is deprecated Function get_magic_quotes_gpc() is used in qa-base.php on line 1170 ?

Well I installed q2a for first time. And i have no idea how it works. But I am welcomed by this function.

Can someone please tell how i can get rid of get_magic_quotes_gpc() function.

or some better solution to replace it with something which is secure.

Can we use stripslashes_deep here? If yes,then How?

Why qa-base.php is not transferring into my webserver?

After snooping around to find out why my website is not being displayed, I found out that one of the file, qa-base.php, is not transferring to my webserver. In fact, as soon as it is transferred, it is deleted immediately.

Can anyone tell me why?

i want to remove letters like ä, ö or ü from urls. this letters in german words make bad urls with lots of %. but i have no experience with php... what kind of code must be inserted and where?

Is the Logic for get_magic_quotes_gpc backwards?

I was having issues with words containing apostrophes like Bob's and quotes like "QUOTES". I was getting slashes like it was escaping and found the logic for magic quotes may be reversed.

I have inverted the logic in qa-base.php and it seems to work, but this may be a bad solution. Would someone please confirm.

This works (extracted from qa-base.php):
