Muffin and Aven Themes

Since my Q2A site has a lot of customisation, it wasn't easy to change the default theme. But finally we changed the desktop theme to Muffin and Mobile theme to Aven. And result is awesome.

1. Most users are very happy with the themes. Especially dark mode in muffin. Ofcourse not everyone is happy with a change and for them we do have the user specific theme to go back.

2. It improved the traffic from Google search by about 10%

Need modification in Muffin theme

I need some modification in Muffin theme, like in user profile page , I want social icons to appear in near profile image and also profile appear at bottom of article page. I have installed article plugin.

Changes required in following urls:

Views also not working in article pages, Facebook login disappeared in Login page but

What's new for Gold Developer's 2020 schedule?

A new theme is being cooked called AVEN, and is expected to be a mix between Muffin and Frapuchino theme. with more compact lists and press-to-action components.
Frapuchino's Mobile theme (screenshots here) will become a theme of its own, called Mobile X and can be purchased separately in the future.

'Free' Gold Developer themes program?

Yes, the word 'free' is quoted for a reason. The idea is to create a funding program for theme development, such as a Patreon page. When the funding meets a budget goal, a new theme is developed and made free for everybody in the community to download.
If well supported, this could be about a theme per month.

This is still a concept idea and don't really know if people would join the cause. But let me know your thoughts and if I see enough people are interested and would be down for this, I'll go forward with this project.

Muffin 2.0 is here!

As you might already know, Muffin is a constant process of perfection on building, shaping and reshaping things with the objective of reaching the best user experience whilst keeping the outstanding good looks.

On this new version update some of the little bugs were fixed but also some noticeable improved looks were implemented. Some of them you can see on the screenshots down below but others are ready for you to discover.

Brief description of what's new based on below screenshots:

Ask Question link is at the very top of the Left Menu Navigation bar.
Search Bar, Left Menu Navigation, Notification plugin icons, Titles & more have now an improved and cleaner design.
User Navigation Menu with more link options, making it easier to surf trough your platform: My Profile, Edit My Profile, Private Messages.

Muffin theme conflicts with Widget Anywhere plugin

When both Widget Anywhere and Muffin theme are installed, the sidepanel doesn't work properly. Instead of staying below content, the sidepanel is placed above content:

How to replicate the problem:

Have Muffin theme and Widget Anywhere activated
Load a page in which a widget from Widget Anywhere is activated
Downsize the width to 1050px or lower
Refresh the page

The problem only happens when you load or refresh a page in a 1050px or lower width. If you simply downsize a window to 1050px the layout won't break. Both Q2A 1.7.4 and 1.8 beta have the same results.

Menu layout broken in Muffin Theme at 1250 to 1330 width

When Muffin Theme's width is from 1250 to 1330 pixels it becomes transparent.

Hi folks!

I'm here to announce that MUFFIN theme version 1.2 has now been released.

All the love and constructive feedback were kindly listened and put into work to perfec the theme.
It offers now a more friendly mobile experience, and supports Right-To-Left writing style.

Some of the major changes you'll see:

Question statistics style has changed on listing pages, it's now more compact, showing only its icons and full text when hovered
Mobile design improvements
There's now a Custom Styles CSS file for you to implement your own styles and color scheme styles, such as changing the TopBar color or other details.
Fixed Navigation Bar missing icons
Navigation sidebar now starts open in Desktops, instead of sliding in when the page has loaded
Badges plugin fixes and updates (this plugin will be available for download for free on my GitHub account of course )

And a few more other improvements here and there and some of them that you might or might not see as many were made on the backend.

The "bad news" is, discount period has ended. Muffin theme is no longer in discount.
Well actually it's still gonna be with a 5€ discount for a short period of time (1 month) because of the "debugging period" in case there's any little bugs that might need to be fixed and the theme needs to be shipped again to the buyer.
So that's a courtesy to cover that inconvenience in case that happens, which I believe it won't be necessary.

Muffin theme modification - few questions

Hello gold.developer,

I purchased Muffin theme yesterday and would like to make below changes, could you please help.

1. Reduce size of vote box, it should reduce for desktop, mobile and tablet.

2. Change menu color

3. Change question font and its color

4. Increase sidebar width

5. Change background color of tags.

6. Change question description font and answer font.

7. How to change top login/register to default of q2a.

Once done, please let me know how to minify css file.

This issue is still present.
