What I mean from certain tags is for example, there are tagA, tagB, tagC, tagD, tagE, tagX, tagY, tagZ.

User can freely add tagA to tagE, but only admin or moderator can add tagX, tagY, tagZ.

I don't know maybe core already support the feature, or there is a plugin that support the feature.

I don't want moderators to be able to close a question because sometimes they act according to their personal opinion. So I want this to be a group of moderators decision.

Just like the flag system that posts which reach 5 flags will be hidden automatically I'd like to have same for closing questions.

How is it possible?

I have a menu element which links to unanswered questions. I set that page to be available to moderator too.

I have a user which is Moderator of some arguments but not a site Moderator (which can moderate all the arguments) and this user seems to be not able to see that page.

Is this behaviour correct? How can I show to Moderator-of-just-some-arguments that page?

1- How can I keep a Q&A community really active?

2- How can I incentive to our moderates in to keep my community clean? I mean, without needless questions.

Hi, I am needing a new functionality, that I hope can be added through a plugin. I would like to make a moderator for a category being able to be notified by email when something new happens in the category (post, reply, comment). This is for a website with very low activity (5 posts or reply per week top maximum). But we would like to prevent any problem to happen.

I would like to be able to select this option at the same time that I make a user, the moderator for one or several categories.

So it is in the spirit of the category-email-notifications plugin, but with the admin instead of the user making the subscription. I am currently learning how to write a plugin by modifying the category-email-notifications.

I am searching for a way to add a widget in the member pannel: the panel where moderator for a category can be defined, the one that appears in the member page, after selecting a user and hitting the "modify" button.

I'm wondering whether there's any tutorial for assigning moderators in Q2A when I'm under Wordpress integration?

I'm using the latest Q2A with Wordpress 3.3.2.

I saw this question: http://www.question2answer.org/qa/15204/how-to-make-a-user-into-an-expert-editor-moderator-or-admin

and it says that I need to do something in qa_get_logged_in_user(...) function in qa-external-users-wp.php. But honestly, I'm not familiar with this and I'd like to ask for some guidelines.. what do I need to do here exactly?

I just want to assign some users to be moderators, but rather than based on points, it should be based on the wordpress roles.

Alternatively, if anyone have any simpler make-do for this purpose, I'd really appreciate it if you could share it.

Thanks for the code which works perfectly in the Basic Editor however it doesn't seem to override the nofollow tag in the WYSIWYG editor. Any thoughts?

I have seen references to creating admins, moderators, editors etc. I have also seen reference to banning IPs etc. Is the current version of Q&A capable of doing this, or is this for a future release? If it is currently part of the release, how do I access the above items for set up?
