I am receiving this error on my q2a site linkif.org especially on some pages when i submit form on login page

Add Categories page etc..

I hope someone can answer me this question. This will substantially answer my other question (https://www.question2answer.org/qa/87862/how-to-display-avatar-when-you-have-userid).

Let's say we have an array of USERIDs after doing some MySQL query

SELECT userid from ^posts WHERE ....

So the $userids will have values like 13, 29, 173, 544.

How do you turn this array into a horizontal list of Usernames like:

Xavier, antmant125, Huckleberry Finn, Elton_Jim

How was an empty handle in qa_users possible?

Found in my error log:

Undefined offset: 4148 qa-include/pages/users.php on line 68

Then checked the user with userid 4148:

handle is "" // empty!

How is that possible? Shouldn't that be caught on the registration level? I disabled the name change of users, so it must be registration level.

Do you know regular expression pattern for getting user handle?

I want to get user's handles that start @(atmark) from certain text with regular expression (preg_match_all).

E.G.

Text example: @usera aaa bbb @userb ccc ddd eee @userc fff ggg

Result example: @usera, @userb, @userc

search doesn´t include username / user handle?

My users often want to search for posts of a specific user. At the moment this is not possible, i think?

I think it´s a very important feature, that is probably need by many users.

So i wonder, if there is a reason or if this can be changed in the next version?

Bug : Ampersand in name resulting in 'page not found' errors

One of the users on my Q&A reported that when he went on his profile page and clicked on one of the subnavigation items it resulted in a 'page not found' error.

When I removed the ampersand from his handle in the database the issue disappeared.

So I *think* this is a bug.

I have a site set up with LDAP. It works great for most North American names.

Unfortunately, we have several staff with names longer than 20 characters. Besides widening the qa_users.handle field, any suggestions for what else I should be looking at to get the Q2A core to work with a wider handle (say 64 chars)?

Is there a URL I can throw the userid in and get the username?

In different scenarios - especially when developping plugins - I find myself going to phpmyadmin, qa_users, searching the userid to get the username (the "handle").

It would be great to have a URL to get the userprofile immediately.
