I made some changes in my CSS file, but it does not impact anything visually.

And I was mainly shocked when I deleted the CSS file from my directory and the website still works as if the CSS file is still there. With or without file, the website still works the same. Why?!

In qa-base-theme.php body_tags() adds a 'qa-category-<categoryid> in body_tags() function. If I add a qa-category-<categoryid> class in the css file, then I can see categories in different colours, but only on the category specific page.

My suggestion is to add qa-category-<categoryid> in function q_list_item(). That way all pages (like Questions, Hot, Unanswered) will show each question in different colour based on the category id.

I don't see qa-category-<categoryid> class being used anywhere else and I believe that is the original purpose here.

Browser or Webstie Cache is Saved and it don't show the updated website .

I have changed style or css file in my website . Everything is perfect But since the browser Cache is Saved so in normal browser , the change is not showing . It shows the previous website . But when I browse in Private window or incognito window or clear Cache then it shows the updated website .
Now my question is , my website's users don't use Private window or incognito window or they may be don't clear Cache. So how can I solve this issue so that , my all users can see the updated website in their browser .

Some plugins include the CSS as a separate file whereas some output in head_css. Which one should be preferred? I think this should be given as a suggestion so that plugins are made better.

Content formatting - for question and answers

Want to reduce size of text in question and answers. I've mathjax plugin which has content formatting option but that does not work.
I have seen these two post by @pupi1985 question title background color and change color of question text . So I tried according and changes do not reflect.

I have added this code in qa-style.css inside donute theme:

I am trying to use `special container` style but this color is not as same as <pre> tag (know color code in pre tag?), also this style has border line which is not looking better.

[Update] Q2A Badges Plugin Style Update

Q2A Badges plugin is one of the most used plugin yet it's styling and unresponsive nature was years old. Well I tried to style badges slightly ( not much though ) and also made them responsive.

Most of the changes are just CSS related so it should work perfectly without any issue. Moreover the styling is done only for User's page Badges list. If you like the changes then do leave your word for it ;)

I am playing with the advanced theme and i am trying to add/remove some elements in the "Edit Question" view but i noticed that has the same template class as the "Question Page" which is "qa-template-question". Is there any quick hack (even in the core) that it will allow me to add a unique template class for the edit question page ? eg "qa-template-question-edit"

After making changes to the style sheet theme, I used to just upload the new style sheet and Google Chrome will pick up the changes.

MS Edge and IE are working OK, automatically updating to the latest version style sheet, but Chrome is not doing that.

How do I change the version number of the style sheet? Q&A is using the Q&A version number.
