I would really like to have one more:

- Closed

That would help a lot to find duplicates separated and any other closed question.

Hey everyone, I posted some pictures to make this easier to understand.

My theme im using is FlatBox, and the plugin i seem to be having a problem with is called closed. Its shows a login and register page to visitors, the only way they can view the site is if they login or register first.

As you can see if the first picture if i type my sites URL with out the www it goes right to the site.

In the second picture i type in www before the domain name and it takes me to the login page of closed plugin?

Also would like to know how i move the on-site notifcations to the main menu bar

I developed "Closed Site" plugin. This plugin supports default 3 theme (Default / Candy / Snow). It can easily support third party theme. You can build closed site without changing theme file.

Adding CSS class .qa-q-item-closed to closed question in questions list

I think this should be core - as we also have a best answer selected class (.qa-a-count-selected) for answers:

I remember there was a way to add a "badge" for "best answer" selected in questions list, but I cannot find the post anymore.

Is there also a possibility to add a "badge" for closed questions.

Having duplicate questions listed in related questions is just not useful as user clicks on duplicate and has to click again on link to original... in my opinion :)

How to list all closed questions that are duplicates?

I get 'spammed' by maths students who seem to have a hard time with their professor. Within 1 week there were sometimes 5 * same question!

And of course they don't use the search before asking + the "related questions" shown after the question title is given, are mostly not matching...

That's why I have to close them manually as duplicate (pain enough).

And yep, now I need to list those duplicates to be able to delete them.

Dear Gideon, are you considering to add the new admin option "hide closed questions from question list" to v1.5.4?

Argument was: "after closing a question nobody is able to answer it ... does not make sense to keep it in the unanswered questions list"

Replacing answer form with "ask a question" on closed questions.

Is there any easy way to replace the answer form with an "ask a new question" form on closed questions? I think this would be helpful. I tend to get a lot of people asking new questions as answers to existing questions. I would like to be able to close them but still allow users to post new questions easily. Any thoughts on this? This will only display pages to uses that have logged in.. but the problem is that in 1.5 if you click logon or register nothing is displayed because the user has not logged in.

Strange Behavior of Text Editor

Hi, I have several user reporting to me that they have problem with the editor. The problem is that they can't type on the text editor and the strange thing is that the problems are not uniform. For each browser (IE,FF, Chrome) I have users who reported that they experienced this problem.

BTW, I ask them also to see if they have the same problem on the demo forum on this site: http://demo.question2answer.org/ask

At least one user reporting that he has still the same problem on his Chrome.

Any suggestion what's going on here?

I want to make Closed-FAQ-System published to internet with Q2A. It is not discussed in this system.

1. Secure-modify-method that registration is not possible from internet ?

2. Can SuperAdmin or Admin register other user from admin panel? （This is meaning to invite other manager.） Or, method of usage to resemble it.

3. Other necessary settings?

I am wondering if it would be possible to set up a kind of question which is posted by an author including a tutorial or similar in the content section, but closed to answers. Comments could be still open.

One would need an additional entry in the main menue like TUTORIALS / TIPS or similar. What already can be done. Tags and categories could be the same.

Then one would need an admin-option to show this kind of entry either on the Question- , Tag-, or Categories pages on top, or,easier only under the new TUTORIALS / Menue.

The search could throw out both, tutorials and questions. With TUTORIALS / TIPS first.

Then the ASK / TUTORIAL input form would need to be changed a bit.. So that one can choose question or tutorial. Like setting a parameter by a "choice button".

This function could be restricted to moderators or admins only..

I think it would be an excellent feature, q2a could be used as knowledge base as well. On tutorials still could be voted and may be they could be sorted by votes as well...

I hope my understanding of the script is not too far away from the reality, but if there is a place/table where a parameter could be stored, it seems to be not too complicated by changing an advanced theme..
