My users complaint that

1. ckeditor is not running on android phones.

2. the textarea displayed is not taking line breaks (possibly because normally it would be html, entering <br /> works for line breaks)

you might want to use your android phone and check: http://www.gute-mathe-fragen.de/ask where you see only the textarea but ckeditor is not loaded.

That is why I want to have an automatic switch to the very basic text editor if an android phone (or mobile device) is detected.

How can this be done?

What I need is just a very simple Example. In external function section, an example is given to create a post, but for test purpouse I need just a function that displays the most recent question, or any content stored in the database.

Or is there any generic documentation?

Thanks for the code which works perfectly in the Basic Editor however it doesn't seem to override the nofollow tag in the WYSIWYG editor. Any thoughts?

I would like to use the basic editor for the "More information about your question" but the basic editor only gives a textarea of 1 line. I know it is resizable with the mouse, but I would like its default height to be greater.

I have been playing around with the CSS but I was only able to increase the height of all the 3 fields on the qa-form-tall form.

I want registered / anonymous only to be able to use basic editor to post question and Moderators to use WYSIWYG?

To prevent dubious links popping up all over our Q&A I would like registered users and anonymous posters to use the basic editor to post questions answers and for the moderators of the Q&A to be able to use the WYSIWYG. Has any body adapted the code for this functionality?
